We have 35+ years of experience as a mold maker in the United States and 12+ years of experience traveling to Asia and developing partnerships, including time spent living in China.
We assure that all new tooling, design reviews, and mold quality meet U. S. standards and the customer’s standards. Our offshore partners are located in China, South Korea, and Taiwan. Each job is managed from the quote stage to delivery, and we send a weekly progress report and pictures up to the T1 sample date. Only imported steel, and inch or metric standard components, are used.
We provide 2D and 3D drawings, full assemblies to the customer, and use UG, Pro-E, Solid works, and provide you with the format you need. Each project is personally managed to ensure that our offshore builds carry the same level of quality that our customers have come to expect from our domestic builds. After your order is placed, we have an offshore MoSu Program Manager to supervise the mold build, sample generation, and any engineering changes. We then facilitate a complete sampling to the customer’s parameters and process a report that includes the part weights, processing set-ups, machine tonnage, and full part inspection, which is then provided to the customer.
We ship sample parts to the customer’s location. Then, we do a complete mold tear-down inspection before the tool ships. Once the sample parts have been approved by the customer, we then ship all molds to Western Carolina Tool and Mold for the final incoming tool inspection and preparation by our journeyman toolmakers, before the mold ships to the customer.
We are partnered with Western Carolina Tool and Mold to provide incoming inspection and ongoing support throughout the life of your product.
